Managing Your Subscription
All subscription management happens in one place: Settings > Account inside the Codewick app, or at app.codewick.ai in your browser.
Upgrading your plan
Section titled “Upgrading your plan”When you upgrade to a higher tier:
- The change takes effect immediately.
- You get instant access to the new tier’s token budget, priority modes, and features.
- Your payment is prorated — you only pay the difference for the remaining days in your current billing cycle.
Downgrading your plan
Section titled “Downgrading your plan”When you downgrade to a lower tier:
- Your current tier stays active until the end of the current billing period.
- The lower tier kicks in at the start of your next billing cycle.
- Any unused tokens from your current tier do not carry over.
Cancelling your subscription
Section titled “Cancelling your subscription”You can cancel at any time from Settings > Account > Cancel subscription.
- You keep full access to your current tier through the end of the billing period you already paid for.
- After your subscription expires, non-AI features continue to work — you can still use the editor, terminal, file explorer, git, and browser.
- AI features (chat, debugging, review, code generation) are disabled until you resubscribe.
- Your projects and files remain on your machine. Codewick never deletes local data.
Switching between annual and monthly
Section titled “Switching between annual and monthly”Monthly to annual
